Official rules

1. No purchase necessary. To participate, complete the official entry form available online at www.placerosemere.com. The contest begins at 9 a.m. (Eastern Daylight Time, hereinafter EDT) on April 19, 2010 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (EDT) on May 16, 2010. All online entry forms will be assigned an official registered entry number, which will be automatically deposited into the electronic ballot box by contest organizers. One single entry per day per person, per email address. More than one online entry form per person per email address per day will void all entries for that day from that person or email address.
2. All participants will automatically receive at least one (1) discount coupon from one of the participating retailers of Place Rosemère. In order to take advantage of the rebate indicated on the coupon, the participants have to print it from the www.placerosemere.com web site and present it to the identified retailer when making a purchase. The coupons cannot be exchanged for cash or credit and must be used according to the terms and conditions stipulated on each coupon. Place Rosemère and the participating retailers cannot be held responsible for any technical problem arising when printing these rebate coupons.
3. All participants are eligible to win a $50 Place Rosemère gift card. There are twenty (20) prizes available to be won, each consisting of a $50 Place Rosemère gift card.
4. A random draw to determine prize winners will take place at 3 p.m. (EDT) on May 17, 2010 at the offices of Houlala Communications, located at 1643, Saint-Patrick Street, Montreal, QC H3K 3G9, from among all eligible online entries received on www.placerosemere.com. Only one prize per winner
5. The selected participants whose entry form was randomly drawn will be advised by phone and in writing, by a Place Rosemère representative within one week of the contest draw. A Contest Agreement Form, to be signed by the selected entrant prior to the awarding of his/her prize, will also be included. The Contest Agreement Form will include a skill-testing question that the selected participant must answer correctly prior to being declared a winner.
6. Winners have until June 4, 2010 to claim their prize. The prizes are neither transferable nor negotiable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
7. Winners must claim their prize in person at Place Rosemère's Customer Service Desk with a valid id as well as the duly completed Contest Agreement Form that was included in the package sent to them by Place Rosemère. The Contest Agreement Form must be signed by winners prior to the awarding of the prize. The signed Contest Agreement Form will confirm the winner's compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the prize, and authorizes Place Rosemère to use the winner's name, photograph and/or video image for advertising purposes without compensation; and releases Place Rosemère, its affiliates and respective agents, officers, directors, employees, representatives and contest organizers from any and all liability, damages, costs, expenses and claims arising out of or relating to the prizes. Upon receipt of such executed Contest Agreement Form, Place Rosemère will make arrangements for awarding the prize to the winners. In the event that a winner cannot claim the prize in person, Place Rosemère will accept a postal mailing including the duly completed electronic entry form and the Contest Agreement Form sent to them by Place Rosemère.
8. In the event of erroneous or illegible information on the entry form or misdirected mail, Place Rosemère and/or its affiliates and/or their respective agents are not responsible for the loss or failure to deliver the prizes. If such selected entrant does not contact the promotional agency before June 4, 2010 or does not otherwise comply with the contest requirements, Place Rosemère and contest organizers will have the right to select a new eligible entry form (whereupon the initial selected entrant will be deemed to have forfeited any rights to his or her prize) and to contact such person in the manner described above.
9. Before being declared winners, selected entries must be verified. Winners must agree to accept their prize as awarded; prizes are not transferable, nor negotiable or convertible to cash or credit. Place Rosemère retains the right, entirely at its own discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or value in the event of the unavailability of any component of the prizes for any reason. The decisions of the contest organizers are final and binding on all entrants.
10. All information submitted becomes the property of the organizers, who will not be held responsible for any lost, stolen, late, altered or wrongly sent information or of any malfunction of the website during the promotional period, of any network or telephone line, computer system, server, Internet provider, computer equipment, software problem or technical incident, any electronic message reception difficulty due to technical problems or Internet or website overload, or of any combination of these, including bodily harm or any material damage caused to a participant's or any other person's computer related to their participation in the contest or downloading of any material related to the promotion. Organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion and subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, to cancel or suspend the email portion of this contest if a virus, bug or any other reasonable cause beyond their control corrupts the security or proper administration of the contest. By registering on the www.placerosemere.com website participants authorize Place Rosemère to mention their name and city of residence on this same website if they are declared winners of a prize.
11. Draw: Odds of winning a $50 Place Rosemère gift card depend on the total number of eligible entries received on the www.placerosemere.com website.
12. Entries obtained from sources not authorized by Place Rosemère will be disqualified. Place Rosemère assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, illegible or misdirected entry forms. Neither Place Rosemère nor its affiliates, or their respective agents, officers, directors, employees and representatives, shall be responsible in any way for the use of or bear any liability whatsoever in any way attributable to the prize awarded in this contest.
13. The present contest is held and organized uniquely by and for the benefit of Place Rosemère. Place Rosemère and its respective affiliates are in no way responsible for and will not be held responsible in any manner whatsoever for the organization of the present contest, the awarding of the prize and/or for how winners make use of the prize. A winner cannot win more than one prize.
14. This contest is open solely to all admissible residents of Québec, except employees of Morguard Investments Limited, the Place Rosemère shopping centre, any affiliated companies, promotional agencies and any store offering a specific prize in the present promotion and those with whom they are domiciled. By entering this contest, entrants agree to abide by contest rules. All entries become the property of Place Rosemère and none will be returned. Winners younger than 18 years old will need permission to participate from a parent or guardian.
15. Participants' personal information is retained by Place Rosemère, 401 blvd. Labelle, Rosemère (Québec) J7A 3T2, and will not be used for any purpose other than this contest. The information is accessible only to employees involved for the duration of the contest or other authorized reason.
16. No correspondence or communication regarding this contest will be engaged except with selected entrants. Any dispute as to the conduct or organization of a promotional contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement. Fees due under Québec law have been paid. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.
17. Place Rosemère reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or withdraw this contest at any time, in whole or in part, without prior notification, for any reason, with the prior authorization of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux.
